UCP GT4 Challenge #2

Ok this challenge is on the Nurburgring or Cirque De Le Sarthe, you choose, but specify which one

Car:
Aston Martin DB9, sports medium tires

Rules (made by porschenut, slightly modified by me)
- Arcade Mode
- Time Trial
- Quicktune is NOT allowed
- NO MORE THEN 2 TIRES OF THE TRACK, CURBS ARE TRACK!
- No touching walls
- No opponents
- Make sure your time is 100% clean before posting it!

*these challenges should be for fun, and to see who is the fastest on these boards, do think of that before posting a time in which you cheated*

post a screen shot of the menu at the end of the ace that shows your car and time, ill be posting mine as soon as i get my digital camera today

Some pretty impressive times there dude! I managed a 7:48.268 on the Nurburgring (though I did only do one full attempt at it), so your 7:43 must've been pretty nippy.

I'm even more impressed by your Le Mans time. After a good 4/5 hotlaps the best I could manage was a 4:09.798, so I don't think I'd have a hope in hell of shaving off another 6 secs!

I take my hat off to you sir!

Nurburgring: 7:41:083

Circuit de la Sarthe: 4:00:947

It's not really that hard if you know the course. I can pull a 7:34 at the 'Ring with R3 racing medium tires, thanks to Logitech for that amazing steering wheel made for us the GT4 addicts.

It's not that hard. You just gotta know the track real well. Just stay on track and keep your speed up. It also helps to do quick races in arcade mode on level 10 difficulty so you can practice lines in the real world (sort of). I too could could have made my times a bit more even with NuclearCrap, but I got lazy and bored

Disturbing the Peace
i cracked 7.40 on the N'Ring a few weeks back, i will try and replicate that again... (and that was when i was doing laps for the photography contest 3 weeks ago i think) dunno about Le Sarthe though, never been around it before in my DB9...

EDIT: just clocked a scorching 7'35.275 around the N'Ring...

EDIT 2: wasn't sure which Cirque de la Sarthe we were meant to do so i did the one without the chicanes down the main straight and i did a 4'01.537...

pics are taken with my camera phone... so they aren't high quality... 1st pic is the N'Ring and the second is at Le Mans...

does anyone know how to take a screen shot at the end of the lap, with all the telemetry in the photo... coz when i go into the replay theatre and try to take a photo all the telemetry readings are removed from the image...

never mind i took the pics with my phone...

hold up i will have a look... i am pretty sure the only thing i have done is change the alloys i think...

EDIT: well i had a look and the car was stock, but to comply with the rules i will do another lap similar to this in arcade, and on my PS1 controller just to rub it in even more...

EDIT: and now to prove just how silly NuclearCrap was in not believing me, here is my time from doing it in the Time Trial section of the Arcade mode...
7'.31.391!!!

and the photo to prove it...

EDIT 2: my new time for Circuit de la Sarthe II - 3'.59.432
