Eh, suppose it doesn't really. I don't know anything about the North american version, so I'm not sure if there are any differences. Though I suspect not in regards to this.

I love doing little competitions on my own, like seeing the difference between all generation lancer evo's etc etc

I like doing that too, experimenting....this game is what you make of it...nearly every aspect of it can become a game in itself.

I've had very few stock cars around the 'ring. Most memorable was the 2002 Turbo, with second being the Lotus Elise (190hp version); I usually go with sport street tires. Also tried the 106 S16 but it was way to slow and got bored after half a lap.

for the nurburgring cup at gt racing point, we have had the 2002 and the old alfa spider aswell. Very slow cars, but with comfort tires, absolutly drifting

I can't stand driving anything under a Lemans car. It's just to slow with anything else.

Some tuner cars, and there are some other cars that aren't in the Japnaese version. I wouldnt mind having both versons, but it seems like a waste of money. Having the Japanese version in N.A with an accompanying region-2 PS2 is good enough for me.

I only drive 'road' cars at the ring - i don't see the point in anything other than going for the 7/8 minute mark. I was going for an 8min lap in boggo 22B and it got a bit scrappy (no walls or corners cut I hasten to add) in the middle so I had to drive my arse off for the rest - I got a 7'59.959 and is was the most satisfying thing I've done on GT.

I'll post some times when my Playstation get round to loading GT4 some time on Monday. Piece of crap.
