Please, I urge you all to try this car out. It was incredible to drive. Sure, half the time I was restarting the lap through glancing the grass and going for a spin, but when you got it right, it was beautiful. I drove around just for the fun of it, which is probably why this thread was made! A new find for me, this car is one of my favs now. But one thing, it only had 5 gears!! Was still hitting 197 with the gearing, but what wonders another gear would have added!! But a superbly balanced car overall, on a more level track would eat up the competition. If only I could have saved the replay...

Raza, just tried your 578HP Evo VIII and did a 6'25.249.

Took me 3 laps. I set the gearing to 15 but spread 6th to a .595 which is not quite where it would be on number 16 setting. It topped out at 190mph at the end of the last straight. Fun car, monster brakes!

RazaBlade, The Vanquish started at the 637, but engine power drops over time, which is where I have lost the 3bhp

Right, I kinda figured. Was an OK car to drive, thought it would be more of a handful, but seemed a bit 'dull'. May fully tune it!!

By the way, where do you get the Vantage V8 from? I could only find the DB7 Vantage, not the same car Im guessing?

just drove one of my tuned cars, but it doesnt give me the satisfaction of the n2 tires, so i just leave you guys in your tuned posers and go on driving standard cars

btw, i did an under 6 minute lap in my Skyline Nur, 911bhp is ALOT, too bad i misjudged the second last corner, and flew into the wall

That's okay, you're just giving me more targets to go for....and I'm not trying to make this a competition, just trying to get faster.

Exactly. I would never have thought I could have shaved 4+ seconds off my Evo time if it hadnt been for you beating me in the first place!!

Yeah, it's amazing how much time you can find once you see what's possible. I'm confused at why I leave so much time on the table when it seems I have ran a good lap. I guess it comes down to being too careful and such.

Tuned Roadgoing Cars: Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nurburgring '02

Racing Exhaust
Racing Brakes
Turbo Stage 4
Large Intercooler
Racing Chip
Port Polish
Engine Balancing
Fully Customisable Transmission - Set to 19
Semi-Racing Suspension - dampers on 7 again
Racing Flywheel, Clutch, Propellor Shaft
RSS Tyres
Wing - 30/33
New Oil
Weight Reduction Stage 3
Stiffening
(ie max tuning)

Nissan Skyline GT-R M-Spec Nurburgring '02 - 875bhp - 5'56.213

Well, the hardest thing was picking which one to buy ( theres 6 Skylines to choose from New, each with the 'same' specs but a different name. Please note this is the M-Spec Nurb, not the V-Spec Nurb)!! Jokes aside, I picked this version 'cause Porschenut mentionned it before, and it was the most expensive too.....

What a beast! Finally broke 6 minutes with it, but took me so damn long. Ill give a tip to those who are brave enough to try, the car handles better under acceleration than braking, so brake well before the trickier corners and accelerate through. The car actually isnt that bad a handler, its just that everything is so much on a knife edge, that one tap of the controller, one misplaced bump in the road, and it'll completely unsettle. I set about 3 full laps, but they had plenty of mishaps in them. This lap was immaculate, maybe a bit too much correction and hesitation is places, and because of that I think theres still time to make, but Im not sitting down to find it (unless someones beats it....)!!!!

Now, which car next.....

Tried to burn a lap in a full tuned 800+hp Supra, the front end would wonder about the tarmac at anything above 175mph even with RSS tyres and wings.

Will prolly have to turn on ASM to ever complete a fast lap.
