Gran Turismo 5

Anyone have any news on this game for PS3?

I hear that it will have Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and minor crash physics like Forza Motorsports on XBOX. And the graphics will be so good that you'll be able to see the indents in the door handles.

Ferrari, Lambo and Porsche's rights are owned by EA iirc so no chance of them in a polyphony game

Having only Forza Level crash physics on a next-gen system would be completely unacceptable.

I doubt Ferrari, Lambo or Porsche will be in the game, but there's no reason for Pagani, Koenigsegg and the like to be absent.

Read somewhere, belive it was GTP, that those screens were off an upgraded PS2 graphics engine. So they should look atleast alittle better on the PS3

I recognized all but one of the tracks from GT4, and they still won't have Ferrari, Porsche, etc. On the positive side, judging from the 3-D modeling of the pit-crew compared with GT4, GT5 graphics are a ten-fold improvement.

I heard somewhere that EA no longer holds the Liscensing to "The Big Three" and Maserati. Is this true?

for one, it better not be released like super late like GT4. less cars, more variety. we dun need 5000 honda's and 295403295743 skylines. and the ferrari's are nice to drive so. body design changes (not rice) would be nice too. ones that help performance. so. when is it out for PSP?

sounds interesting. from what i read in reveiws, they could make the AI's more skilled and harder to beat(AI's always lack skill)
