200gig HDDVD, as far as I know, is quad layer dual side.

No at the moment it's NOT larger. You can say that after they get those triple layers or quad layers to market (and compatible players/recorders). But then again, by the time they get those to market you'll probably also have triple or quad layer Blu-Rays so it's kinda irrelevant.

Oh and I wouldn't call 51GB triple layer vs. 50GB double layer a really impressive difference in capacity.

And the production lines for 50GB BD were up and running since October or November IIRC.

Quiggs:
6 layer Blu-Ray = 200GB
quad layer HDDVD = 65 or so GB

IF they ever show up. As of now they're still vaporware without any compatible players (that we know of).

EDIT: Oh I didn't see that you wrote quad layer DUAL side. Those could indeed very well be around 200GB.. . But the vaporware applies to that even more.
