COD3 vs. COD2
What do you think of the two?
Which is your favourite? I bought COD3 today and have been playing it, and I have to say, at this moment in time I prefer COD2. For me, the single player mode in COD3 is too jam packed. There is too much going on and most of the time there are so many explosions going on around you that you can hardly what is gonig on infront of you. I feel that th eonline play is also much better in COD2. COD3 is too fussy and has too many variations. In my eyes you can't beat a good old deathmatch. The two games may be abit old, but anyway, what are your views?

i played both of them back to back recently and COD2 is a much, much better game.

cod3 isnt even made for pc, so it cant be much of an FPS.
but with cod2 on pc id call it a respectable successor to the amazing COD1. COD3 is not even made by the original developers. Infinity ward. Who made the best 2 ww2 FPS games of all time with COD1+2 on pc. These console versions are a mere immitation.

Ive played both of them before with my buddies and i do have to say that COD2 is far better multiplayer against friends than COD3

I play COD united offensive on PC online, have been for about 3 years. so far nothings improved on it.
i want to know. WHERE is COD3 for PC, or where is the expansion pack for COD2. I heard the new COD for PC is modern combat.

I've got both, and I played COD2 last night after ages and I must say theres some aspects on that Online play which are better then the COD3 online play mode. However I do like the ranked leader boards they have setup on COD3 better then COD2..
Mission-wise I think that first mission, where you jump over that ledge, that was World War 2 atmosphere, utter choas! After that it went abit downhill...

I'm very disappointed that COD3 was released as a console version. The successor to COD2 should've remained a PC game, like its brothers before it.

I second that. COD is probably my most played PC game of all time. I find it slightly disrespectful of activision to hand over the title of COD3 to a console exclusive developer.

Personally I like CoD2 more. CoD3 lacks that WWII feel to it, it just looks like something to show off lightings and everything's in exaggeration, while the music and environments in CoD2 suits the WWII style near perfectly.

COD2 will probably be the last decent COD on console. Since Infinity Ward dont develop it for console anymore.
