Just seen the trailer - GTA4 returns to an all new Liberty City (New York). Looks awesome!

They are using real cars for the first time - the trailer features the Crown Victoria and 300C.

Sounds wicked... and the real cars is going to be great. Is it the same graphics as the previous games or better?

the graphics look awesome! a definite departure(similar texture styling and detail to HL2 IMHO, i may be wrong). The website is quite busy right now anyway. I think i may need some upgrades...

Will it jump to the 90's in terms of music setting etc do you think?

most likely, by the looks of it. Its a whole new engine - new physics - different gameplay. They won't have ruined it.. i dont think.

I think the biggest improvements I can see so far is the texture of the water, and the sheer scale of the buildings - they are bloody HUGE! Check out the attachment and compare the size of the cars to the size of the surrounding structures. The cars themselves also look more life-like.

They're not real. I'll guarantee you that. Same reason New York City won't allow its name to be associated with a series whose press is usually negative, with the only good press coming from Game Magazines.
