yeah. i cant friggin wait. i play COD:UO online so much that every infinityward COD game is a huge anticipation for me. It looks great.

whats with Prypyat focus now - is this a general soviet thing where Chernobyl is a good setting because its a well known example of their inhumanity. s.t.a.l.k.e.r anyone?

yeah, i think its just an opportunity to combine realism (aka real life terrain) with the opportunity for more extreme entertainment. (aka radioactivity and alien-like activity in the area)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R is a great game which uses chernobyl to great entertainment. But COD4 looks to take on a more military approach. S.T.A.L.K.E.R uses a more "what-if" storyline. Chernobyl gives game developers this exciting prospect to play with in a game. I personally find it very intriguing and seeing as nobody ever goes there hardly in real life. Playing it in a game is a very new experience.

I love stalker for its atmosphere and adjustable gameplay (you choose what to do). But we all know COD4 will be more tactical and linear which suits it fine i guess.
