Yes, there is. Hit the up button on the D pad and then hit right on the D pad and go to "Tires", it will tell you what your wear is at. I did the class C endurance race and managed 20 laps with around 60% wear, could have done more though, with a 23 second lead on the second car and made it through the pits before he made the corner for the back straight, after that i just blew him away for 5 laps then cruised the last 5...

What the heck! Shouldn't there be some kind of warning for a needed pit stop!? I could have easily taken 2 or 3 pit stops and still won, but no I just wasted 35 minutes for nothing!

yeah, had just known my gas was almost gone I could've not wasted 35 minutes of my life....
