I've downloaded the twin ring motegi tracks. There's the speedway ring and three other infeild circuits. After many races there against a friend I've found that they tend to favor cars that accelerate quickly. Otherwise you'll need good brakes to make moves on the infield.

How twisty is it? from what i remember they're pretty flat corners, rather open except for a few sharper ones..

(I haven't got the DL tracks)

How acurate to real life are the cars? i mean, did they really had the time and resources to study the cars and their phisics?

Anyone?

TIA

Motegi is quiet tight with a few hairpin and many 2nd or 3rd gear corners.

Pictures of RS6 and 22bs at Motegi. The Civic is running the 4wd gear at the 'ring. The worked Muria concepts at Road atlantica and the last is of an SC430 I've just finished.

just downloaded tha december car pack and the road america track for 500 MS, and i would have to say...it's worth it! the FXX sounds amazing and the CCGT(with minor tuning) goes so smoothly round the track its unreal!

i'll share more happiness later with all the other cars performance, sounds, looks etc.

These are my opinions of the latest cars added to forza 2....

1971 Pontiac Firebird -- as you'd expect a trans-am to be
1981 Renault 5 Turbo -- Little monster with the righ upgrades and tuning
1984 Audi Sport quattro -- Pretty much the same as above...
1986 BMW M3 E30 -- awesome ride
1997 Porsche 911 GT1 Street -- Not as i expected it to be, but an all round decent add
2005 Ferrari FXX -- A bargain at just 250,000 credits -- no words are really needed to emphasise the sheeer awesomeness of this car
2006 Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano -- meh, could/should be better
2007 Audi R8 -- wow
2007 Koenigsegg CCGT -- slides about quite a lot...or maybe thatr's just me
2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera -- OMG

The new track kicks ass as well

CCGT vs. FXX vs. Porsche GT1

This is a quick comparison of three of the new cars. All of them are in stock form with slight tuning to my preference. No parts were added to the cars and here are their times.

The battle is won by having the lowest total time of 2 laps of the new Road America track.

CCGT = 3:52.137

FXX = 3:51.464

Porsche GT1 = 4:12.655

Honestly the CCGT felt faster when driving it. The FXX felt a little less tight especially in the long bends. But theirs the proof.

*edit*

Agreed 100% and the fact that I have actually driven on it in decently fast car is a sure plus. Only like 70 miles from my hometown.

mucking about with the new cars...initial impressions is that the E30 is great, the FXX is ridiculously planted, so much so that i spun the CCGT at the first corner when i drove it straight after, still fiddling with it, the superleggera is a bit understeery at first.
all in all a great set of new cars, want to get the quattro next
