yeh new wheels would be good. an ek9 type r or ultima gtr would be fun. any cars from pgr4 that arent in it tbh. but wud pgr4 hold the license??

After I painted up my Subaru Legacy GT I swore I would never do another faded, checker-board pattern again. Apparently I was lying .

Anyway here is an Evo X I've been working on. As you can clearly see, the paintjob is based on the WRC paintjob with a few alterations. The top of the car is 300 layers of just checker-board. Mechanically it is as close as I can get to WRC specs, or guesses. So it is stripped out, using street legal, track Pirellies and has no more power added to it. Gearbox, brakes and all those other items are also top spec.

This car is lots of fun to drive even though I haven't really adjusted everything yet

how long does it take you to paint. ive done a few but alot end up too complex and i get bored or just look crap.heres a few.

The Evo X took three weeks but only because I had other things to be done. Amongst my cars I have several that are half finished because of other work I need to do.

Id like to see less Japanese tuners and more Euro tuners, like Ruf, TechArt, Gemballa, Sportec, etc., or at least see their body kits in the game...

i just rented the game for the first time.

i have beaten the first american race with a pontiac solstice and i won camaro so i sold the solstice. seems like a pretty decent game so far.

how come you only get 100$ for cars you win? is there any way to get more money for them?

...because the original game was too easy to beat. You could just do the races, win the expensive cars and sell them to fund a madly tuned beast to beat all the other races. Takes longer to build up the funds to tune cars now.

I'm jealous of the amount of time you seem to have on your hands...!

The decal section of Forza IMO is terrible. Unnecessarily complicated and irritating. I personally can't be bothered to spend hours painting a car for use on a game, it's just not my idea of fun.

Would've been handy if you could import jpegs but then you have copyright issues.

I don't have that much time That was a bit of stop and start work along with finding the right images in the UCP photo archive If I'd really concentrated on it I might have been able to do it in a day but I get bored of just painting and have to go and race

I agree it would be a lot easier if I could import jpegs but I just get on with it and figure out how to do things as I go. Most of this has been honed in the cars I've partly painted for the regular battles against Elliotti and the spur of the moment ideas I've come up with. A lot of these vehicles are still unfinished with many more ideas still left over. The weirdest ones usually come out of the battle cars since we only take half an hour to build,set up and paint ( the leagacy was one of these jobs and the job still frustrates me).

Guys, this weekend I'm thinking about putting three Evo Xs up for auction. They will be to the same spec as my one and painted the same way, numbered 10, 11 and 12.
