I dont think you give it enough credit for what it is.

The graphics are no where near the same quality as R6V1, are you off your head!

graphics only matter to the kind of PC hardcore nutbags who thought crysis was actually good (awaiting far cry 2 here).
the game is like the first only with everything improved, including a proper co-op (something COD4 lacked) so i can hardly fault it. Plus the weapons selection is much improved, and don't sound like popguns like the majority of COD4's guns.
i still wish they used more weapons like raven shield and kept that games mod system...but eh. <3 tac 500
definately a change in pace to COD4 and so, so lethal. played it through on realsitic, jesus christ
all in all, a nice diversion from COD4 and more of a tactical, co-operative game.

well i do own R6V1 for PC and it looks exactly the same to me. I'm just a little disappointed that it doesnt come across as much more than a beefy expansion pack that's all.

weird. the moment i put the game into my PS3 it just looks like a new level for R6V1. But you have to admit the gun models don't touch COD4 for their textures and realistic-ness. Atleast this time your squadmates dont consider walking THROUGH a room of enemies to get to the cover on the other side to flank them I would recommend this game, i just wish they took more time to make it, didnt call it vegas 2, and set it somewhere else.

When i talk about the graphics, I'm just disappointed that other developers have managed to use the unreal3 engine and bring us games like gears of war, bioshock and UT3. Yet ubisoft dont seem to have used the engine to its potential atall with r6v2. If you compare a warehouse in r6v2 to 'overgrown' in COD4 they are at compeltely different levels of visuals.

Visuals aren't the most important thing in a game for me, and my love of RB6V2 is testament to that. The gameplay makes up for any follys in the graphics, however I find RB6 vastly more interesting to play in multiplayer. Its like chess, Its a tactical smooth game, where teamwork and patience pay off. where as COD4 is like dodgem karts at the local carnival.. loud, fast and energetic. Both are technically brilliant, But I know I rather tactics to brute force any day

one thing ive realised then is.. if you could crouch beside a wall in COD4 and order team mates around in single player. Itd be the best game in the world

No, It needs abit more than that.

RB6V2 is hilarious due to bodies actually flying around when C4/Grenades go off. Unlike just falling over in COD4 (always bugged me)

cotterik it might just be a less than spectacular port to PS3 that may be bugging you visuals wise. the weapons models work fine for me and i like the weapons they use, and since graphics haven't really been anything less than useable/passable for like 3 years it doesn't worry me..
COD4 seemed a bit dated in that the single player at least, the enemies kept respawning. it kept the action up, but RB6 offers a change in making you work for your kills
it's just a little too dumbed down still, though
(miss the claymores, IR scope, larger weapon selection, weapon mods from raven shield)
