I was wondering the same thing.

Maybe a 335 S, sportscar from the late 50's?

Probably more people would've been upset if you couldn't drive a rare 50's italian racer than a common 90's japanese coupe...

I think it would be a great idea for them to release some of the DLC packs as region-specific (NA, European, Asian, Australian).

Speaking of which, I heard they removed the region preference system from the game (rarity ratings). Is that true?

They did, thank god. I never got the whole purpose of that.

No words on those who got a german racer in GT4 and couldn't drive it if not in the test circuit...

Maybe because it was a record racer? And couldn't you drive it on the Nurburgring as well?

My excitement is contained quite well at the news..

I'm ploughing through the season play at the moment. Onto the R3 championship, I got an M3 GT2 which is proving to be quite a handful

Yea. The anti-climax accompanying that bit of news is so thick you can smell it.

I am very disappointed with the way Forza Motorsport 3 turned out.. It's not as fun to play as Forza Motorsport 2, and it does not really add... anything. The game FORCES you to auto-upgrade your car to the best possible spec, and so you simply are not challenged for a race. If I race on opponent level hard, I rarely win. If I race on opponent level medium, they're way too slow. There's no suitable level for me
