Well atleast it would be a Chrysler coupe people might actually want to buy. (I understand that the Crossfire is very slow)

It would look good with the 4 exaust pipes but the 2 spaure exaust pipes IMO look better. They make car look more advanced or modern. They sorta blend in with the car.

Yes, sadly. But the GT500E and Shelby GR-1 you just cannot say "no" to if you are a fan of his better works! Matt, got any pics of the GT500? New or old? (preferably new, I have like 50 pics of the old one).

I think that the Series 1 is a good car. It is light and has good handling. It doesn't matter if it "only" has a 4.0 liter engine. Some early Ferraris, the 250 GTO for example, had 2.9 liter engines but they were great cars.

Also the GT500E (new car) is a great redo of the original, but it will set you back $147,000.

Did they even redesign it except in some very small details?

It looks exactly like "Eleanor" from Gone In 60 Seconds. It has a nice 6.6 liter engine in it. The interior is also vintage '67 Mustang with vinyl seats and a wooden steering wheel; although it has a Sony stereo with CD player. It also handles a lot like the 60s Mustangs. It's in the April Road & Track.

Thats where I saw it. So awesome. It is nice to know that it was ressurected, in a truly great form.

Weren't they selling the Viper to Saleen or something?

In anycase, the Viper is the least of their problems.

I highly doubt the Firepower will ever be built, especially with the shape Chrysler is in now.

The NY Times ran an article yesterday saying that even if GM got the 30 billion it asked for, it still might not save the company.

I think Chrysler is in worse shape than GM, so.
