Thats not the same red as yours is it, that one looks like its got Magenta or Pink in it
Other than that, it looks alright but the flames have a bit of a ????? over them

i met up with the bloke who owns it at a dyno day recently. hes got an intercooler, air filter and exhaust done. made 166KW at the wheels. i didnt run cause my tacho doesnt work but i think a new clutch and thrust bearing are up first followed by a manifold and exhaust system.

well he's making about 20kw more at the wheels than yours is at the flywheel, so its definately not all show, no go.

yeh thats what i thought. im impressed that just an intercooler and exhaust make up THAT much power on it though. the stock must be pretty restrictive.

a decent exhaust,intercooler and a piggy back ecu would give good gains,wouldnt worry about a inlet manifold(plenum),their pretty good already,a better bet would be a roller bearing t28 turbo,from what ive been told the stock plenums are pretty good on the sr20det

Well theyre certainly not something you see people going crazy trying to upgrade or modify. How are the exhaust manifolds on them? Ive seen a couple of people now try an actual tuned length manifold/extractor on XR6T's now, but mostly the couple pushing 1000hp.

Pretty good most guys just run a bigger exhaust from the turbo and leave the exhaust manifold ex factory. Allan engineerings 1200 datto has stock plenum and exhaust manifold and they get over 350 hp quite easily,the turbo and the exhaust and a decent intercooler are much more important than changing manifolds.They use a hybrid turbo,the length of the runners on the plenum change the torque characteristics, shorter runners less torque,longer runners more torque
