re Japanese agreed power restrictions...

I reckon it has been a good thing for Japan's car industry, at least in the past. For sure they should now go for it with the power and produce some real factory-monsters.

But at least this restriction in the past has made them focus on other technology. Sure, in recent times they've crept over the agreed limit, but they've still devoted alot of research bucks to fuel-consumption, exhaust systems, turbocharging, suspension, packaging, pricing, and heaps of other good tech that makes American muscle-cars look neolithic: "Big engine in the front bit drives wheels at the back bit, go fast now!"

Though the Japanese could have a go at some better styling.

Then again, Pontiacs, Saturns and other US vehicles have been in the past even worse, hehehe...

Hooray for the rice boxes!

what the hell Nissan did to the R35? I don't like the looks and the new engine. I cried for many years waiting a chance to own a R32. Took me from 1995 to present to get one. Nissan should have brung the GTR to the States since 1989! red

OK I see your point. But he is new and probably didnt read the last post date. I have been known in the past for my limited tolerance for posts like this but after viewing some other sites it may take time for new members to get a feel for things here.
Skyline-22, try to be a little objective and constructive in your comments or you will come across as a fanboy and be treated as such. Not much of a welcome but hey, welcome anyway.

It's not the thread and if skyline_22 had posted pics of HIS one then it woudl have been fine. As it is he's learned - in a hard way - that inane comments aren't helpful to anyone and we look for content AND to watch the age of a thread before posting. So COUDL have been done with a simple,
"Hi, when posting please check threads arent' old and try to add some value. Welcome to UCP, hope you enjoy your time here"

Rockie went a wee bit OTT
