POLIZEI Porsche 997 Carrera S

As man_430gt reported from a Police Lambo this week. I've got info on a Porsche for the german Polizei.

The car was tuned by TECHART for the campaign Tune it! Safe! This campaign is developted to warn people for low-quality and dangerous modifie stuff. More and more accidents these days happen due to dangerous tuning articles. This car must show that police also likes tuning, but in a safe way. The car will also be featured at the Essen Motor Show.

Specs:

Porsche 997 Carrera S

Engine:
TECHART Performance Kit 097/S1
272 KW (370 bhp) @ 6.500 rpm
406 Nm @ 4.200-6.200 rpm

Exhaust:
TECHART Sportexhaust
TECHART Exhaust tip.

Wheels:
TECHART Formula 20

Performance:
0-100 km/h: 4.6 seconds
0-160 Km/h: 9.9 seconds
Topspeed: 297 km/h

Price: 125.000 euro

And this one will be used by the german police, so no show car!!

p.s. Sorry for the low-res, but this was all I could get...

We used to have them as well. They sold them because they had too many crashes with them.

I was just wondering: why didn't they updated the uniforms of the policemen too?? I would be great to see an officer in a racing overall...

I thought the same. That's the demonstration again that the clothes of the german police are the ugliest of the world.

I heard that the Los Angeles PD have a Ferrari 360 Modena F1 in their stable, along with a Dodge Viper GTS Coupe.
