Dang, that looks pretty severe! I take it from the cops posing taking silly pictures that nobody was seriously hurt in the incident?

Probably a truck or something big that went over it. But I think you will need a very agressive polish to get all the scratches out!

That doesnt look like a rear impact from a truck. I saw a Pulsar at a wrecker that had that done, and the floorpan was literally curled up at the back. This looks like a truck's jackknifed and sent the trailer over the back or something...

In a similarly cop related story though, i had the pleasure of seeing the result of a cop sting with the spike strips last weekend. Some loser in a Mazda 626, probably stolen, attracted the attention of probably 5-10 squad cars and had a helicopter out looking for them with the spotlight. The most interesting part though was the sight of the car rammed up the back of a Falcon squad car, on the left hand side of the road, 4 shredded tyres and a buckled front end. The Falcon? Only needed a new rear bumper, didnt even scratch the boot by the looks of it.

Heh, I got these in an email a few days ago. I hear that that SS was brand new too, with the 6.0L V8 and all.
Apparantly, there was an accident or something, and the cops parked their SS in the middle of the road with the lightbar flashing, and were in the process of putting out those orange cones when a truck lost control and plowed into the Commodore. Luckily, there was nobody inside at the time.
Anyhow, keep a look out on Ebay for an SS Commodore front spoiler in near-new condition! :P

Thats good then that no one was inside. Cant really imagine someone recovering from something like that, physically or mentally

Keep laughing - IIRC this vehicle comes from an accident they had on the news recently.

A truck struck the guardrail, the driver, shaken, calls the police, who come to corner off the area and make sure nothing happens. Lights, Sirens, the works. There was this and a Rodeo, so it must have been a fairly large shunt. The truck driver was ok, fortunately.

Somehow another truck, Not seeing the flashing lights, came down the road and ploughed through the scene. Killing the original truck driver.

Great reason to laugh at people doing their jobs
