American RWD or AWD Manual

Hey guys, I'm going to buy a car soon, around 10-20 grand.

I don't want FWD because personally I think it detracts from the driving experience.

Are there any RWD or AWD American vehicles that exist, that also are a stick? I believe automatic is a let down, as well.

i respect your approach in buying a car. What have you owned before? Any other key requirements?

That's a pretty narrow minded opinion.

Stop looking at me! Look at me! Stop looking at me!
There's tons of RWD manual cars, such as the ford mustang.

There's also the Fusion that comes in all wheel drive.

You can go to cars.com and do a search by drivetrain and all that

New or used? Any other requirements (i.e. being powerful etc?)

How many seats ?
Luggage space needed ?
Running costs ?

How's about a Lotus Esprit or an Elan or Elise ( pushing it for the latter )

save yourself the trouble and get an evo, or you can always go with a Fusion

I don't know of many AWD American cars for that money if you want new. American cars aren't really known for AWD-ness.

If you gave us more details it would help us a lot more too.

Way out of the price range (maybe not the Elan if he can even find one, buts its FWD).

Thanks for all the help guys.
I've basically been looking for a relativley new car (2004-2008)
And a price range of 10,000 to 20,000
With Rwd or Awd and manual. Hope that narrows it down enough.

Oh and I don't really care about number of seats and trunkspace and all that. I'm just looking at the core aspects, the problems I really have to deal with, Like not being able to drive stick (lame)

Maybe you could get a Pontiac GTO and try to convince yourself it was American

Other than that I guess Mustang is your only other choice, apart from US trucks

Buy a Ford Mustang GT Bullitt. They've got a minor suspension upgrade, for those times a corner pops up on ya.
