That statement could pretty much be applied to anything in Dubai these days. Or Abu Dhabi.

The whole place (track and hotel included) looks like a massive CGI experiment, it doesn't seem "real".

Just thinking the badge on the red roof is 63 meters long and 48 wide is insane.

Tourist gimmick. The only Ferrari enthusiast who would ever think of going to this is the one trying to entertain their 6 year old son or daughter.

Given I would be in Abu Dhabi for some weird reason, given it doesn't cost a fortune, I'd give it a try. Not for the Ferrari thing of course, but it seems the roller coaster will be awesome, and I love them.

Amusement park admission isn't exactly cheap in US, so if this thing has even more markup than Orlando than it should probably cost a fortune to go.....

This thread needs picture of the inside of the place though....

It should open right in time for next year event I think in late 2010 so.

Here the entry for a rather old and not really updated amusement park (Gardaland) is about 35 €. Add food and the cost pf th travel, and you end with a 50 €/person figure, and it isn't really worth it.

Well, i went to Gardaland some time ago (5 years ago i think), and i think it was rather fun, and easily worth the admission.

I know that if the design trend is the same inside as it is on the outside, then I would pay admission just to see it.

Consider this, they just updated only one attraction this year, in the last 10 years I think.
They actually added a new one, a small roller coaster, which is shit and not even remotely worth the 90 minutes wait.

I see a lot of that disdain on this forum...

I try to understand it but I do not
