Thumbs up The SR is expensive...

but it will destroy just about anything. It's not really fair to compare it to stock Z06's or Vipers, cause it's way modified. But it will absolutely spank them. Check the link and see what I mean.http://formen.ign.com/news/27673.html

for some quick specs check this out....

noOne, i realize what you mean by original def. for the muscle cars, i to have had '60-'70s muscle cars (61, 63, 66, 71 vette; 3 69 camaros ; right now im working on a 69' with a 490 horse 383 stroker, its gonna be awsome) and i know what you mean by sports car, but at races and such they have always put vettes in the muscle car class

and yes, im aware that it is also the american sports car (im proud of that)

and yes, as a chevy guy, im totaly embarassed of the 80's vettes, im refearing to the ones that built the legen (i.e. 427 69 vette, megotmea7 even you have to admit, thats some muscle)

noOne the reason i didnt mention the 50's vette's is because they have no handleing at all (even if they were faster than other 50's vehicles)

and i didnt mention the '04's is because, well come on, the C6 is gonna own all

misho, i wasnt saying you thought you knew engines, you just said the viper would win cause of its monster V 10, and i was saying you under estimate the power of the V 8 (not all cars win because of the size of their engine) my 61 vette only had a 327 with 250 horse, but it smoked the shiy out of big blocks all the time

im not trying to make enemies
i love a friendly car discussion balmost as i love cars

Re: Camarovette

Fair enough, I honestly thought you were just a talker with your original responses to my previous post ... I see I may be mistaken

Good luck with the '69 'vette ...post pics if you can

Nothing in the world like an American Musclecar.... least not anything easily affordable .... nothing like having your guts pushed back behind your spine on a heavy launch

Check out my old ride if you get the chance
