vettes, vipers, and saleen mustangs aren't really muscle cars they're american sports cars, which still tend to have more of a 'muscle' vibe to them than european or japanese sports cars.

im simply going with whats best, normally i would go for the viper if say a Mustang SVT Cobra R was in instead of an SR, besides its on the poll, so i voted for it, and it has the best performance, so yeah

vettes aint muscle cars Superbirds, Coronets, Chargers, GTOs, Chevelles those are muscle cars its not power to weight its about the engine and the sound it makes when you rev it up i admit covettes dont sound bad but they aint hemis either other muscle carish things are burnouts, donuts, and the drag strip new corvettes arnt bad, but about 61-92- that was just stupid also, the only thing close to a muscle car in this poll is a viper, especially since the vette comes with tc

and as far as none of them being muscle cars : a 2 door car with a certain amount of horse power compared to the weight of the car (i.e. a 300 horse power engine pushing a small car would be a muscle car, a fat ass hippo car with 300 horse would not be)

You said "you think a saleen could beat a vette, hell no, they have no engine at all". Well, assuming the Saleen actually has no engine, you are right. But... the Saleen in this poll, the SR, could absolutely stomp a 'Vette, all the way to its 200+ mph top speed.

You said "a viper is just a beefed up peice of shit". It's fine that you think this, but why don't you offer some actual reasons? That's how people win debates. "Reasons". Please try to refrain from opinions which pose as reasons, such as "the engine sucks 'cuz its lame".

Misho is misguided? Where do you get off saying that? Basically everything you said is a value claim rather than an empirical one, and therefore lacks substance. Nearly everything you said is just an opinion.

maybe we should compare the saleen SR with a lingfelder Corvette, and a henessey viper. the SR could easily stomp a stock Z06, but that's comparing a super tuned mustang with a stock Z06.
What he said about the viper is just plain ignorant, the Viper is like that because it's meant to be unrefined. I like the Corvette more than the Viper but, I still give both cars the respect they deserve.

I agree that we should be comparing tuned versions of all of these cars, but unfortunately, that's not what this thread dictates. And just for the record, I do love all three of these cars. Actually, the 'Vette Z06 is my favorite of the three
