Great resources for new modelers
I've just started getting back into modeling serious. I read up on a few sites over the last month or so learning about lots of tricks and interesting products like "Future".
My two favourite resources are: - http://www.finescale.com/fsm/communi...um/default.asp - http://www.scaleautomag.com/sca/comm...um/default.asp There's loads of helpful people on both of those forums. You'll soon find out what Future is if you don't already know.

Here's a great place to start - http://hem.bredband.net/thomaskolb/a...oduction_e.htm
Another great site, this one focusses on motorbikes, but the techniques are the same - http://www.interlog.com/~khartlen/tips/tips.htm Another good looking site is http://www.modelersite.com but it charges to get the detailed pdf files. Here's the FAQ for the model newsgroup. A great place to ask for help and a great bunch !! http://www.ninfinger.org/~sven/model.../rmsfaq.1.html The binary model newsgroup is superb to see the work of others - can be depressing at times though ![]() |
