hey. never knew girls build model kits. Well, you're in luck. I'm in the process of building a MY06 Mustang GT(Revell Kit) and Esperante has already built one. If you have any questions, we'll be glad to answer. Just be careful about the risers. I ended up gluing them to the plastic rocker cover since a little test fitting revealed some problems. Also beware that the thing might have a high ride height. I'll start my progress thread soon.

Here's a link to the same model I just did:
Revell Mustang GT (2006)
I replaced the rims on mine, to change the ride height, but I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner. However, this kit was very nice. It fit pretty cleanly, save some smaller bits, and didn't yield any problems.

The most tricky parts will be in painting the window trim (see Dino's tutorial), if you don't have an airbrush, I would just do that trim with a Craft Pen, which you can buy at most art stores.

Overall, all I can really say is take your time. Even today I have a hard time restraining the impulse to start building right after painting.
