W.I.P. - hsv monaro gts top door slammer

hi i havn't posted any of my model cars yet so this is my first car of the fourm heres my new project its a pontiac gto kit with resin front bumper
what ive done so far:
cleaned up the resin front bumper

what to do:
custom tube frame
custom roll cage
rip apart a dodge funnycar kit

i never knew johnny lightning made model kits. they have superb 1/64 (very interesting themes, too) scale cars, so this is probably a hit. where'd u get this kit. i'd want my hands on 1

Johnny Lightning doesn't make models technically....Johnny Lightning and AMT(the model company) are owned by RC2 which is a large toy company. They also make a lot of diecast models....they are just reboxing the GTO and whoring out the Johnny Lightning name to market them.

this model comes with a 1/64 scale gto so this is why i got this one

i have progress but my camera ran out of batterys so ill get some pics with my webcam i finished the body now to go get some stuff for the custom tube frame

heres what ive done (sorry about the pics there from my webcam)

heres the rear 3/4 all the lines have been filled and rear bumper has been glued on i was going to open the trunk but no im not going to now



heres the front 1/4 ive done the same as the rear



to get the front inside to look like its been moulded as a one peice front i used .......... paper with glue and water and it ends up hard when dried



i did the same to the rear

Just some progress on the doorslammer
The wing as you can see is a weird design and is a 5 piece new design by me I call it the acemotorsport razor drag wing for Doorslammers and top fuel



Please comment on the new wing

UPDATE

Heres the wing finished minus paint and decals (sorry about the pics)

i have a update on the Aussie attack mk1 (yay) doorslammer

i painted the body silver to see if there was a mistake with the putty.........and there was so now its fixed (yay) NOTE this is not the final body color (or maybe it is the body color will remain a secret until i reveal the car)



from the time of the pic the whole front as had a ''makeover'' with the lines not there any more

the door is done (minus paint and decals...... and windows which im scratch building as the kit did not come with the windows)



ill put some pics up later of the new front and windows (the other door is done aswell exept for the windows)

you know HSVLVR once a new ford falcon body comes out in model form the hsv bodyed aussie attack mk1 (or Q207 as i call it) is no more the falcon will be called aussie attack mk2 (or anything upwords of Q208 or Q301 if theres a body for it and its built next year)
