Very, very, VERY nice material. We've been on an Eastern European high as of lately. And that is completely fine by me. Plenty of little known makes and models that deserve to be in the lime light.

I will be back on air with Skoda rear-engined cars as soon as possible. I have found several photos. Alas they must be "washed" a little bit before I can post them.
Some notes: images posted are of the original Skoda 1000 MB car, not Skoda 100. Black and white image is of the very first 1000 MB variant, yellow and red cars images are of Skoda 1000 MBX two-door version, yellow car is older, it has the original front without that central horizontal stripe. Whte one is a second series common 4-door 1000 MB.
There are two rumours - two-door 1000 MBX could be a step to a cabrio version, another tells a story about Skoda 1000 MB to be developed by Tatra company in fact - that is why Skoda exchanged front for rear engined car. Many years ago I have seen a black and white snap of something looking like Skoda 1000 MB, but with Tatra 603 styled coolling air intakes and a different front face. So, maybe ...

Here are the first four images- the original Skoda 1000 MB (front and rear), another second-series Skoda 1000 MBX and the first series Skoda 1000
