This is the 93rd Ferrari built and it is identical in type and specification to Phil Hill's first Ferrari (even down to his special front anti-roll bar). This Ferrari 212 features the Columbo designed V12 engine of 2562cc carrying the famous Carlo Felice Bianchi Anderloni design, Carrozzeria Touring style of Barchetta (little boat) body. This particular Ferrari 212 has the export version 170BHP and the original 5 speed gear box. Chassis 0165 was featured at the 1951 Earls Court Motor Show, London, was sold off the stand to Mike Hawthorn Formula 1 works driver for Ferrari. The original ugly Abbott open coach work was seperated from the chassis many years ago, an open Touring Barchetta body fitted in its place being totally restored between 1985-1992.

Ferrari 212 #7

Ferrari 212 Inter Coupe (1953)

Pics and info from NetCarShow.com. I think they got them from RM Auctions, who I think are usyally pretty stingy with their very nice photos.

Specifications

140bhp, 2,563cc single overhead camshaft V-12 engine with triple Weber downdraught carburetors
Five-speed manual transmission
Front suspension with unequal-length A-arms with transverse leaf springs
Solid rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs
Four-wheel drum brakes
Wheelbase: 102.4 in. (2,600mm)

This particular car was recently sold on an auction (RM Auctions) for £264.000.
