Ruf Rgt

RUF RGT

RUF RGT: Inspired by the Legendary 1973 Carrera RS

The high revving normally aspirated engine is based on the crankcase of the original 911-engine. It is equipped with dry-sump lubrication with a separate oil tank to ensure a reliable oil supply for the engine even at high cornering speeds. The 3.8-liter engine has a high compression ratio of 12.0 : 1. The output of 445 bhp is reached at 7,600 rpm.

Zero to 62 mph takes just a scant 4.2 seconds, zero to 125 mph just 13.5 seconds. The top speed is 197 mph.

The RGT engine captivates by its spontaneous response behavior and its distinct revving ability.

The RGT will be delivered in rear-wheel-drive and 6 speed transmission with limited slip differential
and short shift kit serially.

The sport suspension
is adjusted for road traffic as well as for track use by the help of especially adjusted Bilstein gas shock absorbers and chassis springs.

The standard RGT Coupe is equipped with an integrated roll cage which is covered almost entirely by the Alcantara of the A, B and C pillar. The crossbar can be demounted.

It reminds me very much of the GT3 RSR. Everything looks good except for the weird fender flares. Why did they put weird bolt thingys in them? Aerodynamically, it should add drag.

Still looks good, but it's a bit awkward.

Not feeling the exposed rivets on the $150,000+ car, but I like.

OZ wheels are Ricky Martin approved.

exposed rivets remind me about the 993 GT2, but other than that, this is cool

Faux bolted on fender flairs might look good on a truck, but they look like crap on a sports car.

How much do you think RUF is charging for these fenders? I'm guessing they're not cheap.

Love the performance.

Hate the looks.

I'm sure RUF would make you one without the plastic fenders...

Not bad looking actually, but Ruf could've mounted a better set of rims. The OZ superleggera's look good, but not on this car.

Durability in a race car, OK. For your personal car, riveting on some plastic fenders for a butch look is imo a bit ricey.

Yea, because a 911 is slow and not a race car.

Even for street use, this'd be kinda handy. If you got in a minor fender bender, I'd think it would be cheaper to replace that flare than pay shop labor rates for body work. R+R'ing an old part, even with painting, is going to be cheaper than 5-6 hours of a guy banging on a panel with a hammer trying to get it straight again. And that wouldn't include respraying and blending that section.
