You what, I'll say it, I wouldn't mind owning one of these, even if they are crap. At least I'd get to say I own a Maser. They are dirt cheap too, so if you found one in good condition you could run it into the ground and get off pretty cheap.

They're not nearly as bad as most people would have you believe, the problem is finding one that hasn't been run into the ground. And if Jezza keeps dropping skips on them, one day they'll be collector cars.

one was sold at the illustrious Bonhams auction in Gstaad (since last year open for other Italian cars than Ferrari). It was sold for a price that, according to the auction master, was about equal to a taxi price to Geneva airport...

correct, implying that he could buy the car, take it to the airport, leave it there and still save on taxi fares....(it was a joke off course, I think the car sold for about 4000 Euro...,but you never know with Swiss taxi costs..)
