I can't agree with you on that. I think this coupe line really gives the car some attitude. It's way better than it's hatchback brother.

I Like it (oops did I say that out loud ?) it even has some 2002 in it.

I can't believe they're paying top professional designers hundreds of thousands (presumably) to come up with this. I just can't get myself to like BMW's new style.

10 minutes from Lingenfelter's... aren't you jealous?
It looks like it's sagging through the middle of the car, the rocker panels look goofy.

Thanks for the images. They're all really great, but I have a question: why are they all so blue-tinted? In fact, I've seen a lot posted here that are strongly biased towards blue (not only from BMW). I mean, compare those to these. Granted, they're not as high-resolution, but the colors certainly look better. They also don't have the annoying BMW text on the right, either.

They come directly from BMW's Press site, I only resized them.

It's because the photos from BMW's site are in CMYK format, which is the format used for paper printing. If they had been converted to RGB, they would look proper.

They have been converted to RGB, haven't they?
CMYK images don't upload properly onto UCP.
Whenever I download from BMW, I change the colour format...

EDIT: Even so, I downloaded an image from BMW earlier and converted it to RGB, it still had that "blue tint" to it.

I could see how that's a problem. I can always edit the images myself, I guess. If they're ~2.5k now, what are they being resized from? They must be huge images.

These BMW ones were originally 3664 x 2332 pixels but it varies from site to site. Some MB ones I've resized in the past have been over 7000pixels wide.

What I mainly find wrong with this car:

1. The headlights. They retreat in fear instead of staring down any competition.
2. That U-shaped line along the sides. The car was left in the Microwave Oven for a bit too long.

If they could get those two things sorted, I think this car would look OK.

On a whole, I think it does look better that the hatch though.

Depends on what programs you're using. If you're using ACDSee to view your photos, once you even look at them in ACDSee the color is set. What I do, when I care enough to change it, is convert all the photos from CMYK to RGB in photoshop before I even look at them in ACDSee. Then the photos are fine.

I would. It's unfortunate that people don't like wagons and hatchbacks. It would have been a good competitor for the A3.

The A class doesn't come to USA though. The A class is available in Canada though.

I'm not sure if they will be coming to the states though. The market is small for the 1 series. I'm not sure what it exactly competes against. It'd be stupid to compete against the Mini Cooper and it's way too expensive to compete against a Honda Civic.

Nevermind that then. B class it is then, but I still don't know what it competes against.
