I think in some markets it (the B Class) is perceived as an upper-class Scenic of sorts.

Well, I like it. I never thought I'd say that. Me liking a 1-series. This looks really nice (in the pictures) and really would consider one. Unless it looks ugly in the metal. We'll see.

But what is it going to cost ? I just priced out a full option 120d 3-door: €45000. har har very funny BMW. That's 320d coupé money with leather and navi pro and the comfort pack.

Yep, prices are somewhat through the roof. But keep in mind that that 120d was a FULL option one (except for the M Sport kit). The 120d starts at 26000. almost 20k in options. The cheapest (the 118i) starts at 23000.

I priced out a full option 530d for fun (most popular model here): €80000 (that's 115.000 Canadian $). Base price is €46k.

Everything in Belgium is cheaper , here in the Netherlands the base version 120D 3door is € 34.000

I think it's a pretty nice looking car. It's got some good performance behind it too if you get the 135i.

I thought it looks pretty good, better than the hatch.....

heck, a 135i should be pretty fast too....a modern day E30 M3-like, with more weight and power...

6-piston caliper brake?! You don't even get that with M-car.....what with their 2 piston floater...

You're right, the hatch looks awkward in some positions.

Yup, the twin turbo I-6 in a car smaller than the 3 Series has got to be fast.

I didn't know it had 6 piston calipers. That's strange. It's not like it really needs it.

The only thing I don't like about this car really is the price. It's going to get expensive fast.

Other than the fact that they have four wheels, two doors, two headlights and two taillights, I see no resemblance.
