Bugatti 18/3 Chiron
a pre-Veryron design and engineering study...

18 - as in 18 cylinders (3 banks of 6)

3 - as in 3 turbos (1 for each bank of cylinders)

not exactly... all three banks of cylinders are connected to a single crankshaft... see attached, shitty diagram...

This car was an amazing concept. I loved all the Bugatti concepts they made, this one, the sedan one. They had like one a year in the late 90s.

Its weird how they went from this, to the 18/4, then to the 16/4 Veyron and after like 3 evolutions its still not finished.

I have always liked the ID90.

There are only about 20 total pics on the net of this car and it is a very hard to find. I have plenty pics though and am making a 3D model,I love that tire tread. :P
