why on this particular car? There were quite a few B8s (and b6s) built and many are still being run in the historics.
Suggested reading: David Gorden: Chevron, the Derek Bennett story, about a genius in car building who tragically died too soon from a hangglider crash.

some pics, cars are usually fitted with Cosworth BDA engines, 1600-1800-2000 but also 2 litre BMW engines are popular.
