Romania. Those are licensed Renault 12.

Very reliable and cheap. No computer gimmicks or leather, this car can easily be fixed by anyone.

not really. in the 70's they bought rights to make dacia 1310, it was on the base of the renault 21. later in the 90's they made many variants of that car due to gradually smaller amount of sold cars
about 7 years ago they presented dacia nova, later supernova. as far as i remember it's also on the basis of nearly 40 years old renault 21. about a year ago renault bought 99% of dacia and know they're making logan on the basis of renault thalia

Not Renault 21, Renault 12, and Nova is Peugeot based, can't you tell?

Still, I like these little trucks. They look very solid, and are clearly built function over form. I respect that.
