Looking at hese picks reminds me i saw a blue/silver avantime pretty cool looking car seeing as its a escape coupe in theory i thought id mention it.

I think what adds to its coolness is the fact its soo rare so it doen't seem dull and just the norm like the 206.

Not so much an Espace coupe I think.
Matra were trying to create ANOTHER new segment for the car industry.
So it is from the same design desk as the ORIGINAL Espace ( not the new all steel Renault clunker ) so in that you coudl maybe say it was.
Innovative ( for it's class ) construction.
BUT Renault also had the Vel Satis not sellign and gave higher discounts on it ... so the Avantime didnt' sell ( it was built by Matra, the Vel Satis by Renault ). ( THAT and the typical French boobs --- the hinges were a great idea but flawed in the first batch. So lots of recalls for new hinges )

Yep and i read in a magazine can't remeber exactly but they have gotten rid of the previous managment for ideas etc forward planning, the new guy has come from Nissan he went there to transform theyre image to get them out of the red zone in the market. his next task is Renault

Ghosn was a RENAULT executive VP in R&D was sent to Nissan to teach them the Renault ways and turn the company around. Which he did. Ghosn is cited in almost every management course, magazine and article for what he did and how he did it
Before joining Renualt he was the manger at Michelin who went to America and turned around the business there -- so much so they bought out BFGoodrich
Renault did the Ghosn-way 10 years ago !!!! It isnt' that desperately in need of turn-around (again)
