Looks alright, but more of the same really isnt it, Renault Playing safe again. i would like to see some european manufacturers making a leap, doing something brave like Honda did with their new civic, redefine the brand.

Renault did something brave a few years back. They came up with a Megane that had a really weird back. That's when Renault redefined their brand. And Peugeot did it with the 206, some odd looking front lights. They all have their own stamp...

Yep, and if people like the new Civic, Honda will probably give the most of there future models the same kind of look.

The back is very plain. Nothing like the megane.

This is a very good ride for the size!
If you get the chance to drive it.. Do it! I do it every day!!
Nice cosmetic changes on the new one

I find the new ones to be too big and bulky, the seats weigh too much for smaller folks to be able to lift in/out and the consumpiont is atrocious ( well the auto anyway )
Also LOTS of minor niggles and faults - most of which the local dealer hasn't a clue to fix and often breaks something else while trying to ( Dealer issue probably ! )

You have a point about the seats.. I did sweat a bit when pulling them all out.. (cargo registrated..)
Have also had some minor problems when new.. But my dealer is actually very professional in handeling things like that....
I have the 2,2 dci auto.. The consumption isn`t to bad for a big car like this... 0,9 on long distance and 1,2 city driving (L/10km)...
But the "most" impressive is that when pulling the Locost (tralier weighing about 1000kg) on long distance driving the consumption is about 1,o-1,1 L/10km... I think that is quite allright.. But maybe you have other preferences on consumption on cars like this.. This is my first "big" car

Yes, well made worse that it was a friend who got the new one because he liked mine and I was always saying how good they are. blah blah
They've gone the way of the Golf GtI over the years I'm afraid. Bigger, heavier, softer, woolier. AND hellish consumption compared to his previous Picasso. Which he is looking to go back to I think !!!

Yeah towing a 7 is dead easy, buggar all weight
Hardly going to register relative to the Espace !!!!
