fisrt why does merc refuse to put anything but automatics in their cars? its a RACE CAR... i dont care if its a paddle shift its still an automatic...
 second lmao at the extesnsive use of carbon fiber.... then the power windows... great weight savings... anyway its a great car and i like it better than the SLR. matt you've done it again

now only if they'd make a CLK-GTR with current-gen CLK style..
for the tranny question.... Mercedes (and AMG) doesn't have any manual trannies that can support high output engines... why need manual anyway if the automatic can shift almost as fast as a good driver or a good SMG? it's like why ask for a manual in an Enzo when it can shift faster than most people? F1 uses paddle shift btw.. if they can put the new 7-speed auto in it, it'd be perfect..
