totally forgot I had media access to subaru's rally media website. looking through the race photos now..

It'll be interesting to see how subaru compete giving that a hatchback is something nobody has ever seen subaru compete with in recent years ans Subaru has always been about racing brilliant blue saloon cars across the desert. I hope they do well, because they sure have the passion for it. Lets just hope that solberg and atkinson have had sufficient testing time with the car to hit the ground running in greece.

It does look spookily alike the ford focus WRC car in those photos though. Even the rear windows and side of the car are almost identical proportionally. Maybe they took a page out of Ford's book after their victory last year good luck subaru!

I'm not really sold with the new livery, although i suppose it fits with them going in a completely new direction.

I think it's kind of strange that the private Impreza's (yep PC WRC, not WRC cars, but still) appeared before an official factory car. Seems like they have some problems with a hatchback.

thing about this versus the old for me is the same deal of the 307 versus the 206

the 307 was all-round (on paper) to be everything the 206 wanted to be in the first place

yet the 206 had wicked success compared to the dismal failure of the 307

maybe going to a smaller car will work for subaru where the change to a bigger car didnt for peugeot

you have to consider the kind of opponents each kind had to face

I would assume that they will not omit the sponsor in the glamour shots.

If the last few WRC studio shoots are identical to the car used that season, i dont see why it wont be.

Wouldnt be suprised, i presume with the new car and new drive their budget is going to be higher than last year, which was quite substantial anyway.

I do have some pictures from Shakedown but they arent high-res so cant post them.
