They just got onto lots, and btw i have seen 3 Challengers on the road already, at least one was an SRT8.

How is buying a Camaro reason? Or is the reason, NOT buying the Slobalt Turbo?

It is two part.

Most importantly, it's not a Cobalt.

Secondly, the new Camaro is very stylish, and has a nice big engine.

Ziggity.

Most of the ones you actually see on the road will be the V6.
Fail.

Fail.
Actually I find the V6 model to be a very competent option.

a marginal increase in petrol price in the US, and suddenly no-one can afford fuel..
LOL

Yes, the correct wheels are driven that is vital.

The only shame about this car is it isn't 200-300 lbs lighter.

I agree with you Ferrer- the V6 is actually very viable - direct injection, light (I presume) - it serves well in the CTS, and is probably significantly better on gas.

300 hp in the base model is comparable to what the 4th Gen SS models had.

that V6 would be great in a lighter RWD coupe/sedan as well, imo, but i don't know if there's a market for it?
i.e. in a torana or something similar.

The V6 would be good in a Saturn Sky or Pontiac Solstice, but nothing else...

I thought all the new Challengers were SRT8s for the first year. Or is it that they're all "autos"?
