Well, its transformation from Corvette to strange robot seems succesful...
Odd looking vehicle, can't really say I like it.

It's good looking, I'll give it that.. but I don't see stingray. The stingray comes off to me as a curvaceous, but beautiful Corvette. The concept seems to execute more of a techy angle-induced vented stingray. Call it Corvette T2 Concept or something. Corvette Stingray I'm not fond of.

Stingray is synonimous with Split-Window, and you can see that....

True. To be honest I didn't even notice. I looked at the pictures on my phone earlier.

Mostly agree, but it does look Corvette-ish.

Stupid headlights ruined it. It shouldn't have vertical lights. No corvettes I know of has vertical lights. This, in my opinion, ruined the car.

But the rest of the car is truly fantastic. The back is awesome, especially with the split window, and those awesome quad exhausts, and the side is awesome, with the modern corvette vents, and the muscular wheel archs. I also love the angularity of the car. It is very cool. Only if they fix up the headlights...

I think this car should be likened to the Lamborghini Reventon; it's a corvette, but it's like a supercool version. Except apparently there are no plans for this to be in production though, so that's a pity.

just a pedantic question, afaik the C2 Corvette was named Sting Ray, while the C3 became the Stingray. Shouldn't this car then be named Sting Ray Concept?

I don't exactly like, it's not my cup of tea, but it's good looking, modern but still with some retro bits here and there (I do see the C3 in it).
probably a good example of a modern car, perhaps even futuristic, looking retro.
I would like to see this on production, not the C6.
as a C7 it would be excellent, modern muscular, retro, aggressive, "hi-tech" looking.
then I don't know if I would buy a car unveiled for a Transformer movie, especially after I saw the first.

you are supposed to see a C2 in it, and in particular the 1963 version, the first year of the C2....

I see both C2 and C3 in it. For instance the large vents on the front remind me of the large vents on the C3 where as the smaller grill is more recognizable on the C2.
