He was guilty of the "wing section" grille that infected the last model Impreza in it's final iteration.

A fine idea in terms of concept, HIDEOUS in execution.

Makes sense an Alfa guy would go for a distinctive grill section.. shame he couldn't do a good one. Seems Subaru want distinctive design, but to my mind they were better off before they started looking for it.

In my opinion a Subaru doesn't need a design. They have other better attributes by which they are recognised other than the design.
