First car i ever drove was an R5 Turbo 2, if by devilish you mean 'devilishly fun' i'd fully agree. Although the guy who's car it was obviously had gotten carried away as he'd rear ended someone with it and damaged every front panel as a result , i was driving it in the storage yard of the crash repair shop i was doing my apprenticeship at during that time (1984 to be precise). Maybe it was mostly the thrill of getting to drive for the first time but i totally loved every minute of it.

Add a lot of weight in the back and yes it makes for an exciting combination. I've read in several places that they were fast if a bit of a handful.
