Dear Sir: Either you misunderstood what I said, or you are out and out fabricating it. I never said that I had driven ALL Alfa 8c2900s...I have driven 4 of the 41 cars...and I was NOT looking to drive John Shirley's car.

I have driven the following 8c2900s:
The Le Mans coupe; it was owned in the late 1960s to the mid-1970s by my cousin, Count Johnny Lurani

The Ralph Lauen MM spider, when Bill Serri owned it before he passed away and his wife sold it to Lauen

Simon Moores car

The dark grey metalic Pinfarina bodied convertible

I would appreciate if you would correct your error on the Alfa BB
