  1. Hello Joe,
I am VERY sorry to have never seen your year and a half old message prior to just now. Didn't know this web site had messaging! Again, I'm sorry.
Many people consider me to be the go-to guy for the 300F Special 400HP 4speed equipped cars because I own my black and enjoy doing research. I spoke with Andy many years ago not long after purchasing my car. I've now owned it nineteen years. There have never been any leads on the white car that Andy owned, ran Daytona Speed Weeks and Bonneville, then sold to Hodges for tire testing. There have been rumors but nothing ever became of them; we don't even know of any parts showing up from disassembly if that happened. My car was black from new.
One thing that has always hampered research for Andy's white car was lack of a VIN to compare to cars that still exist. The original could be driving around and we dont know.
If I can be of any further assistance, please don't hesitate.

This car is exactly the one my Uncle Andy Granatelli drove in the Sixties, with the addition of twin Paxton's and dual Air-Horns where the headlights would normally be. Do you know of or have any information as to where this car might be today. It was White. He has an interest in your Car and his original Car as before and after's for his Museum in Auburn, Indiana.

    Thank you for your time,

    Joe Granatelli
