cdocz it also looks like you rushed your design a bit. ur handwriting is a bit sloppy and that really affects the overall feeling of the design. if you maybe just slowed down and instead of trying to make a bunch of designs you just focused all of your energy on making one REALLY GOOD one then it would turn out a lot better.

yeah, shp, first, look at kko's response. i dont think i was bein a smart ass before that. ok, the rather obvious things.....i kinda meant, kinda didnt. i wanted a large down angle, to emphasize the cars aggresive stance, but i overly exagerated it to the point where it basically killed the car. yeah, i guess i also did kind of over react, its not your fault guys. ive been kinda stressed lately, so, i apolagize. (i did count correctly tho, its on another thread where i posted designs of mine). but it is still true however, that most of the criticism could have been delivered a bit more politely (kko). thanks tho (shpferrari), if you hadnt stepped in, i probably would have kept bein a smart ass tho. most of what was said in response, however, didnt really help, except tell me what i already knew was wrong. ill try and make another draft, this time with a bit less a)exageration in the wheels, down angle on the chassis, etc. and b)less rushing

ok cool man!

but u just cant have a down angle of any kind inbetween the wheels. not only wont it look good, it will mess the aerodynamics up i bet. in the murc it has a flat bottom parralell to the ground, but the side scoop rakes up giving it an agressive look. something like that may be more suited to this car

EDIT: btw, KKOs response was almost definately sarcastic or a joke, he just left out the smileys. cant forget those smileys

hmmm......that may work.....so basically a murcielago type side scoop? wow, now that i think about it, that might work very well. hmm......coventry, you said you didnt like the front, suggestions on how to fix? i think im gonna take away the scoops on the hood tho, and just leave the vents but push them back a bit and space them out more. the passenger area will be hard to fix......very hard. (btw, murcielago isnt perfectly parrallel with the ground, measured it at a dealership, its very small tho, just barely enough to give the hint that its there. its somewhere between 1-2 inches different behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel. maybe that size change in heights would be good?)

I didn't say I don't like it, I just don't really understand what is happening with it.

Is it supposed to have a TVR Tuscan-esque bonnet, with the dip between the
engine and the wheel arches? Do the dips continue the full length of the bonnet, or just to the top of the two horizontal grilles?

I think that the ground clearance could be dropped, and the front could be a little less square.

Giving the windscreen such a convex profile would be quite tricky.

Certainly better than some of the crap that I was coming up with when i first started out drawing cars.

You shouldn't be afraid of criticism - so long as it is constructive, not just "that is rubbish", but "that is rubbish because of X, Y and Z" can be immensely helpful in improving your drawing.

Sry if that came out as harsh dood, i was just messin.
As i stated in another thread i try to look at the design aspects, not the artistic skill.
I am not a big fan of this one tho. Keep drawing at let those creative juices flow, youll get better.

well.....before i was making le mans/zonda inspired roadsters, which, when in 2d, turned out very well. the top view would still blow big time, but most people at school understood what it was supposed to look like.

P.S. UCR, i may not have artistic skills, bit i do certainly have maturity over you, and judging from things ive done, theres a good chance im smarter. those 2 things help alot more then art skills later in life. also, kko, dont worry, its ok.
