Do the free ipod sites work?
The subject says it all. Has anyone had any luck with one or know someone who has? I joined a yahoo group NEW_OFFICIAL_Free_iPOD_Group and was wondering if I'm going to get anywhere.

I tried it one time, but never tried following through with it. I don't trust them with a credit card number. Especially 4 of my friends' numbers.

it works as ppl have allready gotten their ipods and TV's(even monitors).
there's a website that explains how they actually make money off of this and how all this operates(but ain't got it in mind). i personally haven't tried this cause i don't have 5 other friends to sign up for this free ipod. though i would, i also wouldn't trust'em(specially when they would probably send you lotza spam through e-mail and mail).

Great find on the Tech TV segment. Good to see "official" people who have had at least some success with it.
d-quick - It does seem like it could take a lot of effort, but this yahoo thing seems like it might work. It's probably going to take me 3 months to move to the top of the list, but it doesn't look like I need to do anything except wait. We'll see. Thanks again for all the help.

im pretty positive that the ipod think is real. there was a news article saying that it was and that the people doing actually do make money off of it. (NO IDEA HOW!) im guessing that they sell all of your personal information to other companies so i wouldn't trust them...
