Another Moment of Silence, If You'd Please

For the late John Lennon. he died on December 8, 1980, by a deranged man with a gun. The silence begins

Although his mind might not have been the cleanest or nicest, he was a brilliant man and I think deserves more respect than a thousand wrecked beer bottles.......

Good. It's nice to know some people haven't fallen into the bottomless pit that is rap.

When i ask someone what favourite type of music they like and say rap, I contradict with them and say 'vulgar poetry.' Pisses them off, but they can't argue with it!

I like all kinds of music, some hip-hoppish kind of crap, some classic rock, some modern alternative rock, but mainly club type of music - dance, house, techno, trance....

Worst kind of music out at the moment - Hip Hop
"Doof Doof I'm an insecure black man who makes a shitload of money buy selling shitty CD's with 2 step beats and lyrics that 3 year olds can come up with to wannabe White boys."

Second worst - RnB
"I went to a club and picked some chick up, then someone cheated on someone else."

Rock may be in a bad state at the moment but at least it takes some talent to play instruments.

Gandhi was killed by a Hindu who believed he was giving too much support to the Moslems in newly formed Pakistan

Truly a shame about Lennon, who knows what he may have given us had he survived ..... all those shots and Yoko was unscathed. There is no justice.

current rock isnt TOO bad, but certainly nowhere near the quality of the 70's and 80's
