If someone could point me to some software, resizing and making gifs wise, then I could probably get this thread back on track and take requests for people because since matra left not much gets done.

Adobe Imageready and Photoshop are a good place to start.

JASC AnimationShop is the way forward. I didnt get the hang of Imageready.
