I wish they explained the physics behind it with a little more detail. It'd be interesting to investigate the technology and principles behind that.

thats cool... however wrong.

thats too dangerous to be playing around with.

what if they aimed it up at a remote plane again and hit a REAL one?

privacy laws anyone?

too many bad things would come from that to even remotely make it worth while.

Indeed, would be facinating, becuase technically its very impossible(obviously!),and I cant think of how the equipment hes built it from can do that. No-one will know untill the patent goes through either, pity

Anyone remember the Philidelphia Project? It was supposedly Einstein working with the US gov't on how to make an entire battleship invisible, however, halfway through developement he quit because he didn't ever want to see destruction like the atomic bomb again. The US tested it anyway, with a small crew and cages of animals. They turned it on, it dissapeared, and when it reappeared the animals and crew were fused together with the ship.

Remember, though, this is only legend.

cool, i wish they explained a bit more about the physics...On TV i saw a machine that could do the same, however using radar.the image on the screen was a bit greenish, so not lifelike...

it had the size of a shoebox, and had a little screen on it, to see whatever was behind...It was on some sort of convention for companies selling stuff to the police and army...

i understand how they can see what's on the other side, because even with a wall in place, just the very slightest amount of ultra wideband light still gets through. It's like helium excaping from a balloon. However, I don't understand how he got the machine to pick those beams of light.

and how could he see the ultra low band light. humans have a relatively small wavelength of light htey can see, visible light. doeshe look through the peice of glass or something that picks it up and does something to that type of light. idk it soudns kinda surreal. if its real thatd be pretty cool. i dont like the sound of the hyde effect though.

great, it sounds like someone finally created the first death ray (burning his hands, destroying appliances)

my guess to how it works, is that it emits some sort of subatomic wave that can penetrate and unaffect the electron shells of an atom, it would be fired at angles so that they could rebound at a set point in space, then be picked up by the machine. It sounds like he can only see two demensially on one picture, like how he said he could see through his hand as if it were a cutout diagram. but then again if the machine created billions of two demensional frames it might seem three demensional, much like stacking different shapes of paper on top of each other. ... kind of like seeing the world in slices... hmmm...

did anyone else pick that up? good, thats because its bullshit, just like the story

i didnt know whether this story was true or not, and i kinda wanted to find out. and after a lot of laughter heres what i found:

there is a troy james hurtubise
http://www.nfb.ca/grizzly/index.html
see the bear costume? its also in the pictures given in the north bay website, identical and wrapped in duct tape...
