I was pretty sure this was a repost, even on this site, but i cant seem to find it... Anyway, bottomline is that the letters in the words arn't completely random so that IN THIS case it's easy to read.

well the thing is that the first and last letters have to be correct but the letters inbetween could be mixed up. Thats why two and three letter words are spelled correctly in the paragraph. If the letters were completely random that wouldnt make sense, they wouldnt look like words at all.

Anyways, I'll use an example to illustrate what I mean: Take a word like 'phenomenal': here 'phaonmneal', the letters may have changed a bit but it still sound almost the same phonetically. Random? I think not. If i rearrange the letters truely: poeehnamnl, peahnomenl etc... the word becomes slightly less "readable". There are more examples if someone doubts it, but I hope you get the picture. Of course this works perfectly when you mix up just a letter or two, or when the words are familiar... that's why spelling errors is hard to detect in your own text. But the "research" is made up and unfortunately not true. Almost all the words are "mixed" up so that it "sounds" the same when you read it to yourself.
